Nags Head glass repairers and found SOS's website. It offered a web page to request a quote so I used that to describe our dilemma and see if there was any chance they could help us with our 2017 Outback on short notice since we were spending 3 nights on the island. Lo and behold, Mr. Al Curtis responded within a couple of hours via email to tell us his son who serviced the OBX was on vacation, but he knew our glass was laminated, so he was confident we could safely make it home to Texas with no issues so our local dealership could recommend the best options. Mr. Curtis did NOT have to take the time to respond on a Saturday evening, to strangers who were not going to put any $$$ in his pocket, but he DID. When I thanked him in reply for relieving our minds and allowing us to enjoy the rest of our trip, he responded that he wanted to treat others as he would wish to be treated. Wow. All I can do to repay his kindness is to write this stellar review, so here it is. Thanks again, sir, and yes, we did make it home safely!
My husband and I had just embarked on a 9 day road trip and in Tennessee, we had a crack start on our windshield...it was small at first, but we were alarmed to see it keep traveling across the glass from right to left as we drove. When we got to our next stop, I Googled for OBX
Rock damaged windshield on my rental car. Called and Jesse answered right away and was able to secure a windshield for the next day. He came out first thing in the a.m. and got the job done quickly. He was great to chat with and the experience was seamless. Would highly recommend and if I have an issue in the outer banks again, I know who I will be calling. Excellent business.
This guy was AWEOME! We went on vacation nearby when a tree came through our windshield. He had our windshield in stalk and was here within a half and hour and started our windshield right away. He will gladly get your windshield in stalk if he doesn't have it. Much quicker, cheaper, and a lot nicer than safelite. This guy clearly knows what he is doing, along with his partner.
Had a leak at roofline next to rear view mirror. Jesse replied to my voice message and coached me over the phone to do some simple checks and inspections to see if I could correct the problem myself, such as clogged drains with the sunroof. Drains checked okay so he said it was likely rust where the window was cemented to the frame. So I dropped off the car at his place. A couple of hours later he sends me a pic of the rusted frame. We had the window replaced in one afternoon. Great, trustworthy service !
We were on vacation when our back window broke. Jesse was able to order and install glass quickly. Thank you Jesse!!
