The main exhibition hall is closed. Of course given the choice of keeping it open or keeping the gift shop open, guess which one is open for business. The flight line with the stone markers for the flights is impressive just by its simplicity. The marker on the hill seems overdone to me. I really liked the life size bronze sculpture of the entire scene. It made the whole thing come to life worth the visit.

An excellent park. The junior ranger program for kids was a blast for my son and daughter. The main exhibit hall is still being renovated so it is limited to the outdoor exhibits. There are picnic tables we had a lunch at and the walk is doable to the large memorial my 3 year old and 80 year old grandmother both managed it.

Cool memorial. You can see the path that the Wright brothers used for first flight. There's also the big memorial which looks pretty cool and an area with an airplane and statues. It's a cool interactive memorial. Plenty of parking. The visitor center was under renovation when I was there (November 2017).

Leah gave a perfect introduction/presentation as we did the ranger talk first thing. Her intro to her speech to the end was engaging and thought provoking with some humor too! The inscription on the memorial at the top of the hill is great and the replica is cool to check out. We were sorry to miss the visitors center/museum since it is under construction as the temporary "exhibit" in the gift shop was basically non existent--just a few info panels on one wall. We were really disappointed by this but Leah earned the 5 stars!

This was our second visit to the Wright Brothers Memorial. We love it here. First of all you pay once for a ticket that lasts seven days. I recommend that you take a kite or two. There is no place like this to fly a kite. We will be back!
