My favorite grocery store on all of Outer Banks. We do almost all of our grocery shopping here weekly. Kim, Ursula, and Trudy as well as several other employees know us by name and always ask how kids are etc. Stan is always super helpful and accommodating when I need help getting to the car. Store is always clean and service is 90% time done with a smile. David has always been our favorite manager, sigh, but alas he has been moved again..
First Food Lion I have been to. They had a larger sushi platter we bought for dinner and a two liters of Cheerwine.
Always quick, stocked 90% of the time and nice employees. Best thing: keeping the customer service in front open for the locals that know it's a shortcut to check out with only a few items. Thanks
I always shop at Food Lion when on vacation on the Outer Banks. It's a fairly well stocked store but doesn't have many fat free or low fat items. I bring my own light bread, buns, fat free salad dressings and low fat cheeses with me from home. Other items like wine and beer are very well stocked. Lots of variety and good prices.
The Food Lion Store I shopped in today was so busy it was hard to go from one isle to the next. In all the chaos, your staff was so helpful. I came in contact with four of your employees, each were super nice, very pleasant. The young lady that checked me out was fantastic. She was so thoughtful. Her name I think was Tamera. All stores need employees like her.
