You have to practically show evidence of your DNA to rent a vehicle if you have only a debit/bank card even if it can be run as credit.
The service was great. The car was ready and clean. My company will only cover the charges of a compact car. The car that was supplied to me was disappointing. It did not have cruise control (tiring on a 600 mile round trip). The car was uncomfortable and grossly under powered. I was exhausted after this trip. While this is not the fault of Enterprise, I feel they should provide all level of cars with some of the more modern accessories. I would use them again but would be more observant of the options on the car.
I think having to have a license is sufficient. Not a utility bill and the rest of the ridiculous list. Good grief.
My husband and I were in in the Outer Banks on vacation with friends. Their car broke down and could not be repaired. We were stranded as we live 6 hours away in Delaware. We called the 800# was quoted $90 for a one day one way rental. As a result of her information, and in order to pick it up (They only go 15 miles) we rented a car in Hatteras to get to the rental car office in Kill Devil Hills. When we got there we were told that they did not have the car that was promised (But were able to offer a comparable vehicle) apparently the girl on the phone also did not feel it was necessary to tell us that there was a one way rental charge of $152. The explanation is that "she" works from home so we don't know who she is. So with taxes and insurance the $80 rental ended up at $246 but it does not stop there - the office where we dropped it of then charged us an additional $64. So total is now 311. This may be news to you Enterprise - you as a "Family Owned Business" are responsible for all of the information provided by your representative! You are responsible to make sure that the information you use to trick people into coming in to your office is correct. I will never rent for you guys again.
Loved renting a car from here. They gave us an upgrade and it was a very nice car. It was very clean and spacious. Could not of asked for a better experience. The staff was very friendly.
A great rental car experience. The car was ready when promised, and the staff was friendly and professional in every respect. A very easy and quick process. The car was a 2018 model with low miles; was very comfortable for my trip, and perfect for my traveling needs. I will definitely go back soon when a car is needed, and will highly recommend the Outer Banks location to my friends.
