26 September 2017 - Inexplicably slow! Thanks to this place I now usually just make something at home if I'm ever debating eating here. That's probably the best thing that's ever happened to my health, ha. The only reason this place gets a 2-star rating is because the employees are usually very nice and the facilities are clean. Otherwise, this location, along with the Kitty Hawk location, are the two slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. The drive-thru here is unbearably slow. 10 - 15 minute wait time on the regular (many times longer), and it's NOT because they are busy. Usually you can get faster service by going inside, but not always. I don't get it. Nothing about this place is "fast" food.
22 May 16 - Have been here twice. Pretty average so far.
If you've gotta have a Big Mac, it's fine. However, be prepared to wait. I have, on more than one occasion, waited more than 20 minutes for my order at this location, even when not particularly busy. It would have been nice to have a warning, not to mention an apology or explanation (or both). When fast food is not fast (and barely food), it's probably best to choose somewhere else.
5 April 2017 - Apparently my first couple of times were lucky good days. Hit or miss service at best. Super dysfunctional at worst. My longest wait ever for fast food has occurred at this McDonald's. Just short of 30 minutes for a very basic to-go order. Only a couple of orders in front of me. What could possibly be the problem?! I could have walked back there and literally made the food faster myself. So weird.
Slowest fast food ever... 15+ min through time like clock work. Every time I'm starving and stop in, I'm like this is the day we, do this quick... always wrong.
If it's McDonald's you know the deal. The Taste okay. Goes right through you. Try Hardee's much better food
We went threw drive thru and the lady at drive thru in nags head location was pretty nice. When we arrived at the window this morning around 930 the lady who gave us our order was too busy with one of her girlfriends that she worked with her. We asked for peper and she never once looked at my wife while she asked very nicely for pepper, she gave my wife salt and kinda acted like it was a problem when my wife asked for pepper instead of salt again. Then my wife said excuse me can we get some ketchup. The lady who didn't even look in our direction gave us 4 ketchup's 2 salts and 2 napkins what are we gonna do with two napkins when there is three of us. When us costumers pay for there wages. One last thing the tea was sour like two days old. BTW we will not go back to this McDonald's. Only reason it got ONE STAR is because of the lady at the window was fairly nice. ALM. Thanks
