Got to OBX for family vacation with kids and after taking my bike of my car rack I found that somehow I got dinged perhaps by another vehicle and my rear rim got warped/bent. A rental outfit recommended Outer Banks Bicycle. I went in, guy took a look and thought he could get it at least better for riding but he wasn't sure. Said it would be about $20 and should be "tomorrow" for the fix. I got the call and went in and the repair was much better than thought. Rim was straight and true. Charge was exactly the $20 he quoted. They put the rim back on and I was on my way. Worked out great for me. Thanks guys!

Ordered two cruisers and a trailer for a week so we could get free delivery. It was late afternoon and we failed to get them delivered so we decided to drop by the store instead to see what was going on. Apparently, the guy that delivers was sick and failed to notify us, and the shop owner said that WE should've called. What? He didn't even leave a voicemail to let us know. We already paid and made our order online. I work in client service so good client service is important to me. He ended up getting some bikes for us last minute without checking the tire air (we had to tell him to pump the tires because the tires were flat) and ended up getting a trailer with a dirty diaper, sand and old toys in it. Chains were rusted and we had to bike the cruises 5 miles back because no one could deliver until "sometime" the next day. Never going here, again. Poor service and we had to do everything ourselves!

Chip is a great owner really knows his bikes

Chip was super helpful! We were visiting the Outer Banks and out for a long ride. Chip showed us on his computer exactly how to follow the route all the way past Duck. We had a great ride because of his good instructions.

I brought my bike to the beach for a week, and during my first ride down beach road, the seat broke off of my bike.... I went in to Outer Banks Bicycle, and was helped right away! They found the best replacement seat for me, and it was a great price as well! They attached the new seat for me, and I was on my way within 5 minutes. I will say that before I went into Outer Banks Bicycle, I went to Bike Barn because it was next to our house, and I do not think I have ever been treated more rudely in a retail setting in my life... Now I know to go straight to Outer Banks Bicycle in the future!!
