I use to come into this place all the time and always loved the results. But the last time that I came here I was very unhappy with the results and will have to find another place to get my hair done. I came in for a dye job, wanted my hair to be a dark blue, but instead I get greenish blue. I was told my hair is very dark but they still could do it, and that the dye would last two months. The dye hasn't been in my hair for a month and already mostly gone! She also did not bleach my hair (I've had my hair dyed before and never have I had any issues until now) Every time I get in the shower the tub fills will blue, which has never happened to me before. I also got a trim, barely a cut and I was overcharged for that. I wasted $100 here for nothing, and it sucks I can't get my money back. They sure have lost my business
Ontop of them telling me they could do the color I wanted and then being out of stock the very next day, the woman at the front counter couldn't be more rude. Being a woman, I know we get periods and have mood swings but damn girl take a midol or pain killer if you're going to be rude to everyone that talks to you or looks in your direction.
Best Spot at the beach to get a men's haircut. People that work there are always happy to see you and go above and beyond to get the cut you want.
Before I arranged the appointment my hair was a washed out light blue and green; I had called and asked if they could dye it a dark blue and told them the condition of my hair and they were very friendly and eager (over the phone) to do so. However, when I walked in on time for the appointment they told me they didn't have dark blue in stock but they had a midnight shade of blue, which was fine and dandy with me. When all was said and done my hair came out as black as Snow White's hair. Mind you I am as pale as a ghost and not as charming as Snow White, so the black did not look good at all on me.
They are super expensive and the times I've came here ... I never get what I want and they charge you to get it fixed to how you actually want it... they won't charge you if they do half her hair and that's just ridiculous...and if you don't tip well they don't like that.
I've been here twice and both times the women working there were snobby. It's over priced and their coloring job is not great. I wanted silver or even a dark ash. I was told that my hair was very dark, but that they could do it. When the woman was done you could see the line where it transitioned from black to silver and it was orange. The silver part had some yellow (almost like a rusty color) in it and looked fried. I had gone three times for bleaching and my hair was fine. It wasn't until the last session where she bleached it again and rinsed. While my hair was wet she applied the silver. I was very unhappy. They offered to try again for free, but after watching my hair turn greenish blue about 24 hours later I thought it would just be a waste of time. I was told it wasn't the stylists fault that it was because my hair was so dark. If you look up black and silver hair there are girls with natural dark hair that turned out great. For the price that I paid it wasn't worth it. The woman who did my hair was being guided by the owner on what to do almost every time I went in there. Obviously, things happen, but the fact that they all come off judgmental and snobbish is enough to make me not want to do business with them again.
